Objectives: |
Students will:
- Listen to the story The Button Box by Margarette S. Reid.
- Given a variety of buttons, sort buttons based on one identifiable attribute (individually decided) with 80 percent accuracy.
- Identify the attribute used to classify a group of buttons by verbally presenting their classification system to the class.
- Given a piles of buttons categorized by two different attributes, use a Venn Diagram to display the buttons in each aspect of the diagram. The buttons fulfilling each characteristic independently will be in the respective circles and the buttons fulfilling each of the characteristics simultaneously will be in the center of the Venn Diagram.
