Students will:
- Read and/or listen to Ginger and Petunia by Patricia Polacco and discuss the text literally and analytically.
- Discuss and support with examples from the text the author’s use of humor and suspense.
- Complete a chart illustrating examples from the story that show humor and suspense
- Make predictions about situations in the story.
- Write an alternate ending for the story.
