Students will:
- Read pages 22-34 from Gooney Bird Greene by Lois Lowry
- Use an atlas to identify the cities within the United States of America mentioned in the text
- Reflect upon the title of Gooney Bird’s story with a prediction and then reflect again after reading the story
- Write two definitions and illustrate the meanings for each vocabulary word from Gooney’s story titles that have more than one meaning
