  • Sound techniques (e.g., rhyme, rhythm, meter, alliteration).
  • Figurative language (e.g., personification, simile, metaphor, hyperbole)

Objectives:

  • Students will identify examples of alliteration from the book Alison's Zinnea by Anita Lobel.
  • Students will create original alliterative stories after reading and discussing the book.
