Students will:
- Read the book Mr. Lincoln’s Drummer by G. Clifton Wisler and discuss it literally and analytically.
- Learn important facts about the famous Seven Days Battles of the Civil War.
- Write a historical fiction story about a drummer boy from the Confederate Army during these same battles.
- Use historical fiction to retell an important time in history.
