Strategies and Activities

This section includes strategies and classroom activities to support the teaching of critical listening skills with a key focus on meeting the needs of diverse learners. A variety of strategies are presented, such as power listening, graphic organizers, tiering, pair & share, and differentiating instruction, and these offer a range of approaches for addressing the needs of diverse learners in your classroom. Printable activities are also included to help you reinforce the listening lessons you teach.
